PIXELSTICK- A REVOLUTION IN LIGHT PAINTING

I love painting with light, tried some with the fireworks recently and now its that wintery dark time of year, its the perfect time to play with the directors most powerful tool.

If you are a photographer, a videographer or anyone really you will love this potential product. Light painting has been around for over 100 years and the basis of it is taking a long exposure picture (when the shutter speed is high) and using a light draw an image, this then appears on the picture. But the guys at Bitbanger Labs in New York have taken this to an exciting new level. They have invented a light stick which they call the Pixelstick. It is a stick made with over 100 LED lights. The stick can be set to numerous settings to produce different effects, with in your photos, time-lapses or animations.
